If you don’t have enough time to go into the jungle for multiple days, don’t worry. With this unique tour you will still get the chance to catch a glimpse of this special environment. It is no secret that many of our guests are eager to see a sloth and that is understandable, because these cute creatures are high on many a wish list.
Right next to the Paramaribo Zoo is a beautiful piece of forest that still provides a home to various wild animals. This area falls under the responsibility of the Paramaribo Zoo and cannot be entered without permission. Fortunately, we have been given special permission to go looking for sloths in this area together with our guests.
But that is not the only special aspect of this tour. We strongly believe in the importance of nature conservation and sustainable tourism. That is why we contribute one euro to the Green Heritage Fund Suriname for every participant who takes part in this tour. This fund is committed to preserving Surinamese heritage and protecting the natural beauty of the country. So not only do you get the chance to see the sloths, but you also contribute to the preservation of this beautiful environment for future generations.
