Kumalu is located opposite the Tapawatra rapids, one of the widest and most beautiful rapids in Suriname!

This beautiful tropical resort is special because of its small scale and the fact that the host (also co-founder) belongs to the local Maroon community.

  • +/- 3 hours bus ride to Atjoni
  • Lunch on Atjoni or Kumalu*
  • +/- 4 to 5 hours sailing to Kumalu

Day 3
