Braamspunt is a sand spit located on the Suriname river in the district of Commewijne. From Leonsberg we go on the pier the dome boat in the Suriname and Commewijne river. Where these rivers come together the dolphins are usually found. This type of dolphin is known as the Profosu or the river dolphin.
After this you will travel on to Braamspunt to experience how the sea turtles lay their eggs, or the egg throw.
This event – which can sometimes last for hours – can also be recorded via video or photo camera (note: the use of flash is prohibited!).
After this tour we return to the boat around midnight to sail to Leonsberg.
